I know that over here bloody useless Sage holds about 70% of the market, but in the US it's Quickbooks that holds likewise.

From bitter experience, Sage is hopelessly difficult to navigate, whereas Quickbooks seems almost over-simplified.

Any thoughts?

I have a similar problem. I don't get on with using Sage - I used to use Quicken but they've pulled out of the UK market. Sage seem to have the market tied up to the point where there doesn't seem to be any viable competition.

I've bought a program called 'Money Manager' which is supposed to be built around ease of use. I've not had chance to upload any data into it though so it's icon is currently sitting on my desktop, not doing anything!

Pleasure. I've still got to set a weekend aside to set it all up but things keep coming up.

If you do decide to take the plunge, let me know how you get on.
